The posting of pictures in one of your postings is fairly easy to accomplish. The first thing that you first must do is to get your picture on an internet computer. Whether it is from your own website, one of the many free picture sites, or passion4sewing your picture has to be in a location where a webpage can access it. When a picture is on the internet it has an address the same as your house, and that is how it is referenced in a post. If you see a picture on the internet whether it is yours or anybody else's, you can see what the address is of the picture by right-clicking on the picture, and then selecting properties.
You will see the URL address. This is the address you would use in your posting. Here is an example where I have highlighted the URL address.

If I wanted to use the picture associated with that address in a posting, I would highlight it as shown, the hold the CTRL key down on your computer and press "C" at the same time. The will copy the address in to what is called your "Clipboard".

You can then go on and write your posting and when you hit the location in your posting where you would like the picture, hold the CTRL key down again and at the same time, press "V". This will paste the address into your posting. Highlight the address in your posting, then click the little box right below your posting subject called "Img", this will put delimiters around the address so a picture will be loaded. After the last delimiter, you can optionally again continue to write, much as I have done after I posted the properties image.

Ok, so you need to get your picture on the internet. If you have a place to store it, you can just follow the above directions, and you are done. If you don't have a place to store the picture, you can sign-up for any number of free locations to store pictures and there are a lot of them. If you just want to store your picture on passion4sewing, you can do that too.

If you have registered for this chat board, you are entitled to upload pictures. I say that because you will have to use your username and password to do the upload. The total size of your picture cannot exceed 60,000 bytes. In order to conserve disk space, I have placed this limit. I would also recommend that you keep the size of your picture to 800 X 600 or smaller for the benefit of the viewers as well the size issue again.
You can go to http://www.irfanview.com and download the irfanview program. It can resize pictures and is one of the best image viewers around. The price is right too - Free!!!

Making the assumption you are going to upload the picture to passion4sewing, you would go to the homepage or one of the other pages that offer the menu on the left-side of the page. You would then click on the menu option called "Upload Pics". This will take you to another page where you will be instructed to put in your username and password (for this chatboard), and then you can browse your computer for the picture you want to upload. Once you selected the picture on your computer, click the button "Upload File(s)". If you have done everything right, the program will come back with address that you will need to put in your posting. Simply highlight that address and do the CTRL C and CTRL V procedures using this address in your posting and you are all set.
